Crete Street Abstraction
I recently spent 2 weeks on the Greek island of Crete. I discovered how much I have missed being in a warm Greek speaking country, and I would have liked to have stayed much longer. Returning to this country has been a shock, but I am trying to hold on to the experience for as long as possible. Cyprus is calling me back more loudly now.
Here are some images that came home with me.

Slow Abstraction Exhibition In Plymouth
I am exhibiting ‘Eyen’ at the Plymouth School of Creative Arts as part of the Plymouth Art Weekender along with Stephen Park, Robert Manners and Mark Jessett.
“Sarah Hoskins, Mark Jessett, Robert Manners and Stephen Park recognised shared concerns when finding each others work in various local exhibitions in 2014.
Their work is highly individual yet has much in common.Their practice is painterly but it does not reside in tradition; their paintings are developed and crafted, whilst avoiding the cliches of familiar technique. Above all, each artist’s work is assertively itself and not an imitation of something else.”
